About Bastion Run Club

Our mission is simple: bring people together through running.

Founded in 1981, Bastion Run Club is Nanaimo's oldest non-profit running club. We are a volunteer-run organization offering road runs, trail runs, track workouts and social events throughout the year. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced runner, you'll find support, encouragement and great company.

Giving Back

Supporting our community is an important part of who we are.

Each year we help local athletes, contribute to community projects and award scholarships to graduating student runners. We believe running can have a positive impact both on and off the road.
